C260
— Known as “cartridge brass”, C260 has a high zinc content (nominally
70% Copper and 30% Zinc), giving it the optimum combination of strength
and ductility, while maintaining the high formability of copper. It has
excellent cold workability and is used extensively in the automotive industry,
and in the manufacture of plumbing goods, builder’s hardware, and ammunition
components.
