My Projects

SmallParts.com’s My Projects functionality allows you to create and save individual shopping lists for all of your different projects. Consider it your “needs” inventory for each project. Run out of a part for a project? Simply return to your saved My Projects shopping list and quickly purchase your recurring need.

What’s more, SmallParts.com allows you to e-mail your My Projects shopping lists to colleagues or friends, allowing you to share, request and compare solutions on similar projects.

To create a My Projects shopping list follow three simple steps:

1. Click on My Projects at the top right of any page
2. Simply name your project and provide a quick description for yourself
3. Click Create New Project
   

You may create as many projects as you wish. To add products to a project shopping list, simply go to the product’s page and click Add to My Projects.

With each project you create, you will find a Private check box. Leaving the box unchecked allows you to:

• view your shopping lists prior to logging in
• e-mail your shopping lists to friends and colleagues

Checking the Private box makes your shopping lists viewable only after logging in.
