Product Description
Soft-brass tipped Set Screws allow for fine rotational and axial positioning when used in devices mounted on smooth hard round shafts. They are useful for locking on coarse threads and they make a good simple thrust bearing to take out the end play of slow to medium rotating shafts. Unlike plastic tipped set screws they allow high clamping loads and will not slip even at elevated temperatures. They will not mar steel shafts. Available from stock in convenient quantities of individual thread sizes, or an assortment.
